The question is, which direction is it going to move? - "I don't blog everyday because I have a new blog ready. **I blog everyday because it is tomorrow**." - "It **challenges** me today. What is the smartest, biggest, most generous **contribution** I cam make tomorrow?" ### Habits - "If you do something everyday, then you will feel like doing it". - Don't wait to feel inspired. It never works. It's all about discipline. - [[A goal is a results - a destination. Habits are what get us there.]] ### Intent - Great artists worried about a few. **Ignore the non-believers**. - We are sometimes scared of intent because of the potential of failure. - "I'm just looking is a statement of no intent. It is how we are trained to go through life. The system wants you to have no intent." - "**Announce your intent**. Who are you seeking to change? What changes are you seeking to make?" - Set your intentions. **Begin with yourself**. - "What are the shifts we need to make to **become the person we want to be**?" - It's okay, and maybe good, to have a perspective that is fundamentally different compared to the norm. So long as you've understood it clearly, and are willing to adapt your understanding to new information. - "Once you can get comfortable with the world of **enough** in the world of **infinity**, it doesn't matter how noisy it is." ### Contribution to change - "Marketing - Anything we do that **changes** the **culture for the better**." - "I've been **intentional** about it from a young age. I thought it was important and I **practiced** it." - "I grew up thinking it was normal to **contribute** in some way." ### Writing - Create some body of work you're proud of. - "No one gets talker's block. No one gets walker's block..." - Writer's block - "If you show me enough **bad writing**, I guarantee **some good writing** will slip though." - We put too much emphasis on what we create in fear of judgment. - "Anything you do that's important begins with a word." - "What are you going to say? Say next?
