## Summary
- [[Visualize your ideal situation in vivid detail]].
- Question things that don't correspond to that model. Then respond or delegate.
- Knowing what to do for the expected allows you to have more mental and emotional capacity to deal with the unexpected.
- Spend time thinking about how you'll respond to various situations. Work that into your models.
- [[Train your brain to envision the ideals]].
- Keep **refining** your models. Build and connect new models.
## Notes
- Maintaining focus these days is harder than before. but it is way more critical to do so.
- Manage your mind to focus and ignore distractions.
- Create "stories" in your mind for **what to expect**. Focus on that.
- keep a picture in your mind on perfection. Focus on things that don't align. Pay attention. Work on that. Question it.
- Have a strong mental model. Have a picture in your head that you're "comparing reality to".
- We have an instinct to react. [[Don't react. Respond.|To respond vs. react]]. Have a mental model of what lies a head. If there's something unexpected that happens, you can (and should) delegate that for later (if it doesn't map to your mental model).
- Pre-thought and mental prepard-ness.
