- What determines if trying is “good enough” isn’t necessarily the amount of effort, the amount of hours, or even the quality of the outcome, but rather the perception of those parameters, i.e. the expectations the perceiver uses for judgement.
- Trying is good enough if trying is all you’re looking for.
- In most cases, it is quality of outcome that is judged, and trying is a matter of bridging gaps or/and a signal for progress yet to come.
- Truly trying is required for doing things that are hard & different. It requires courage to start & persistence to continue, on that basis, there is admiration.
